ZUMA NOT ASHAMED OF TAXPAYER'S RANDS
Pres. Zuma is already planning for his retirement. Back home at Inkandla, his family home is being revamped. The construction is reported to be worth R203 million. But Zuma is to incur only 5% of the whole bill.
His spokesperson says the upgrade is necessary. Answering questions about the reported revamping to a news agency based in London, Mac Maharaj said,
"What do you do when President Obama or an African head of state visits him? You can't send them to a hotel. Where do Prime Minister Cameron's security staff stay when he goes to his private house? President Zuma's medical and security staff are inside that complex, but you can't put them in the same house as his family."Whatever happened to the presidential retirement home?
