JAY-Z RAPS "FOR THE TEAM HE OWNS"

He dons, for purposes of image, the number four on the Brooklyn Nets, the profesional basketball team he has monetary interests in. A home venue has been erected in the NBA's pros honour. It is called the Barclay's Center. Jay-Z performed for the first time at the venue on Friday night, Sept. 28, 2012.

The event was a publicity excercise, attended by the who's who of high-profile New York City zoo, and a crowd of about 18,000 adoring fans. Strutting his stuff onstage, the only way he knows how, the "Brooklyn Go Hard" rapper, showed appreciation to all in the building.

"I want to thank you, Brooklyn, New York City, for making me the man I am today. Like I said, everybody is from Brooklyn tonight".

Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, owns $1 million percentage in the Brooklyn Nets investment porfolio.
