BO UNION III ADDRESS

A decade and four years ago, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, conceived Google, in its own image, and dedicated it to the proposition that virtual reality is not an absurdity.

Today I am engaged in a great blog, testing whether that virtual reality, or any virtual reality so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. I am met on a great post of that blog. I come to dedicate a portion of that post, as the initial "greetings" place for Larry and Sergey who, with Google, ensured that that reality might live. It is oh so cool to always remember this fact.

But, in larger freedom, I will not dedicate--I will not sanctify--I will not bless--this blog. The happy eyes, aware and oblivious, who will visit here, will sanctify it, far above my power to add or subtract. My friends will little note, nor long remember what I write here, but they can never forget what Google did here. It is for me the editor in chief, rather, to be dedicated here to the half-done blogging which Larry and Sergey have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for me to be dedicated to the task outstanding before me--that from these honored Googlers I take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave their first measure of their devotion--that I here highly resolve these happy eyes will not read in vain--that this blog, under Google, will have a new birth of passion--and that virtual reality of the people, by the people, for the people, will not disappear from the face of the earth.
